The art is beautiful and the quality is great, as to be expected from this artist, but there's so much more than that. It's a very sincere book, and has so much warmth in every page. The watercolor tutorials are also a lovely addition! It's very inspiring, and helps the process feel more approachable.

I picked up this book years ago when Cindy launched a Kickstarter to make this project happen. I'm so glad that I did. The book is gorgeous and follows her very personal journey through her art and her growth as an artist. I love having peeks of what goes on behind the scenes with the concept art, sketches, and her artistic process. Definitely the perfect book for any aspiring artist as well as anyone who appreciates beautiful art and a honest story of personal growth.
Beautifully composed book. I've been a fan of sakuradragon since the first time I saw the brand at the 626 night market in the early days. The book really highlights how far the artist has grown and elicits a feeling of both nostalgia and the feeling of a hopeful venture into what lies ahead for the future. The tutorials at the end were very easy to follow and useful for a beginner watercolor user. A perfect gift for a young artist or anyone who is beginning their own artistic venture.
